COX'S BAZAR, Jan 14 (BSS) : The third union level conference of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will be held tomorrow in this southeastern sea resort with the participation of some 1800 party delegates at the grassroots from the three hill districts of the region and Cox's Bazar.
BNP's standing committee member and Law Minister Barrister Moudud Ahmed is expected to open the conference, to be chaired by the party's Senior Joint Secretary General Tarique Rahman.
Enthusiastic activists decorated the streets and road crossings with colourful banners and festoons describing party slogans as well as huge portraits of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman.
A huge canopy was erected at the Cox's Bazar Stadium, the venue of the conference, the third of a series after northwestern Thakurgaon and western Kushtia.
