Mishaps claim five lives

          SIRAJGANG, Jan 14 (BSS): Five persons, including two women, were killed and 30 others injured in two separate road accidents at Konabari on the Dhaka-Bogra highway last night.
The police and witnesses today said three persons were killed when a Dhaka-bound coach skidded off the road after its driver lost control as he was trying to give side to a motorcyclist.
Another passenger of the coach died on the way to hospital.
In another head-on collision between two trucks at the same place early this morning, a worker of one of the vehicles died on the spot, the police said.
All injured passengers were admitted to Sirajgonj General Hospital and clinics.
Two separate cases ware filed with the Jamuna Thana West.
