12 killed in separate incidents in last two days

          Twelve people were killed and 17 were injured in separate incidents across the country during the last two days, report agencies.
In Satkhira, a youth was killed and another 10 people were injured in a fierce clash between two groups of people at Gabardari village in Sadar Upazila Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Rafiqul Islam (22) son of Abdul Majed Master.
In Noakhali, a man was killed and two others were injured in an attack by rivals at Kongshonagar village in Sonaimuri Upazila Sunday.
In Gaibandha, two people were killed by assailants in Gobindaganj Upazila of the district The police said Ronjon Bormon (43) was strangulated to death by unknown assailants when he was returning home from his shop at Takanayapara village at night.
In another incident, terrorists stabbed fruits trader Nure Alam Mithu to death at Boalia village.
In Chittagong, a man was killed and three others were killed in a road accident near Anwara crossing area on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar-Arakan Highway Sunday.
In Gazipur, a female worker was killed when a speeding truck ran over her at Pagar in Tongi industrial area Sunday.
In Jamalpur, two members of a family were killed and two other people injured as a truck crashed into a rickshaw in a deadly accident on Dhaka-Jamalpur highway in Sadar Upazila Monday.
In Munsiganj, a carpenter was hacked to death by unidentified miscreants at Tongibari in the district Sunday night.
In Gaibandha, three men died and seven fell sick after taking homemade spurious alcohol at Sadullapur Upazila Sunday night.
Local people said Noor Mohammad (50) of Hatbamunia, Nazrul (45) and Abdul Jalil (40) of Keshalidanga village in Sadullapur Upazila died shortly after taking the alcohol.
