Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) Sr Vice President Hossain Khaled has laid emphasis on knowing the process of obtaining and selecting offers to face the challenge of post-MFA era.
He said this at the inaugural ceremony of the training course on 'Obtaining and Selecting Offers', organised by the DCCI Business Institute (DBI) recently.
"Considering the competitiveness in the global market our main activities are to know domestic and international procedures of supply chain management. So we need skilled, efficient, knowledgeable and trained manpower", he added.
He urged the participants to be equipped with the updated knowledge of purchase and supply chain management, as it has become more important than sales.
The course aims at familiarising the topics like framework for obtaining and selecting offers, methods of obtaining offers, cfriteria to evaluate offers, number of suppliers to select, process of obtaining and selecting offers and so on.
13 participants from different established organisation are attending it.
