RAB seizes heroin worth Tk 30m

          Members of the elite crime-busting force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-9) in two separate drives Wednesday and Thursday seized 3.0kg heroin, worth about Tk 30 million, from Mymensingh district and arrested five persons in this connection. RAB-9 sources said they recovered 2.0kg heroin and caught red-handed Anisur Rahman and Kalu Sheikh from Astadhar Bazar under Kotwali thana in Mymensingh at 2pm Thursday. They arrested Dowlat Ali, Abdur Rahman and Abdul Mannan from the Station Road last Wednesday night and recovered 1.0kg heroin from their possession.
