Prantik miss the bus in first div cricket

          Prantik Krira Chakra failed to derive a win against league leaders Young Pegasus as they needed only three runs to win with four wickets in hand in the First Division Cricket League at the Dhaka University Ground Thursday, reports BDNEWS.
Batting first, leaders Young Pegasus made a moderate 213 all out in 48.3 overs. Sharif scored 63 runs for Young Pegasus. Nasirul of Prantik took three wickets for 22.
In reply, Prantik were all out for 211 in 49.5 overs. Aslam scored 96 runs for Prantik.
With this win Young Pegasus remained unbeaten playing 12 matches and earned 24 points. Prantik earned 10 points in 11 matches.
In the day's other matches, Gazi Tank beat Dhanmondi Club four wickets while Lalmatia Club outplayed Uttara SC by five wickets.
At the City Club Ground, batting first Dhanmondi Club were all out for 259 in 50 overs.
In reply, Gazi tank reached the target scoring 263 runs in 42.5 overs losing six wickets with a superb 132-run innings of Poltu.
At the Jagannath Hall Ground, batted first Uttara SC were all out for 156 runs in 46.3 overs. In reply, Lalmatia reached the target scoring 155 runs in 46.1 overs losing five wickets. Both Lalmatia and Uttara earned 10 points playing 11 matches.
