Indian Airlines, Air India to buy 111 aircraft from Boeing, Airbus

          NEW DELHI, Jan 5 (BDNEWS):Air India (A-I) and Indian Airlines (I-A), two national airlines of India are set to purchase 111 aircraft from Boeing Company and Airbus Industry at a total cost of Rs 460 billion.
A-I will acquire 68 aircraft, including 18 B737-800, eight Boeing 777-200LR, 15 B777-300ER and 27 B787 from Boeing at a cost of Rs 360 billion, while I-A will acquire 43 aircraft from French manufacturer Airbus for Rs 98.9 billion.
