BENAPOLE, Jan 8 (BDNEWS):Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) has published a research-based report on different types of corruption, obstacles and potentials of Benapole customs and port Saturday.
Considering the report, four port user agencies - C&F Agents' Association, Port Handling Labour Union, C&F Agent Workers' Union and Transport Owners Samity- held a meeting to exchange views at a local motel.
They discussed different aspects of the TIB primary corruption report and the recommendations for development of the port.
TIB Director Sirajul Islam chaired the meeting.
Among others, Nuruzzaman, general secretary of C&F Agents' Association, Mafizur Rahman Sajan, chairman of Benapole Landport Development and Mohsin Milon, chairman of Benapole Press Club, attended the meeting.
