Non-government Primary School Teachers Association will lay a siege to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) on the Eid day, demanding nationalisation of their jobs. The association would bring out a hunger procession after the Eid prayers from the city's Muktangon that would terminate at the PMO, said a press release Saturday. Signed by association's secretary general M Akkas Ali, the press release also said that the government is reluctant to meet the teachers' demand, despite pledges made by the Prime Minister on September 10, 2000 in this connection. — UNB
