Election in the country's two municipalities -- fresh voting in Sundarganj municipality in
Gaibandha and re-polling in three centres of Cox's Bazar -- will be held today (Sunday),
reports UNB.
According to a report from Gaibandha, polling would take place in the newly-formed
Sundarganj municipality in which nine candidates are vying for the post of chairman, 13
candidates for female reserved seats and 40 others for commissioners.
Cox's Bazar correspondent adds: re-polling in three centres of Chokoria municipality,
which was earlier suspended for alleged vote rigging, will be held on the day.
