Mosharraf for bolstering relations with China

          Health and Family Welfare Minister Khondakar Mosharraf Hossain Saturday underscored the need for further strengthea economic progress, reports BSS.
"Bangladesh's relations with China has to be bolstered further due to geo-political reasons," he said while speaking at a discussion organised by the Bangladesh-China Friendship Association at a local community centre.
Describing China as a trusted friend of Bangladesh, the minister said the two countries share common policy against all sorts of expansionism, economic and political imperialism and hegemony.
Mosharraf laid emphasis on exchanging cultural delegations as well as expediting interactions among the people of both the countries aiming at further strengthening relations between Bangladesh and China.
Presided over by Vice-President of the Association Nazmul Huq Nannu, it was also addressed among others by Adviser of the Association and Member of Anti-Corruption Commission Moniruzzaman Mia.
Later, a Munajat was offered seeking peace, progress and prosperity of the country.
