NEW DELHI, Oct 7 (Reuters): India captain Saurav Ganguly is suffering from a tennis elbow injury and struggling to be fit for a home one- day series against Sri Lanka later this month, a team official said Friday. "We tested him this morning and found he has a mild tennis elbow condition. He has been asked to rest for 10 days and will be reassessed on October 17," team physiotherapist John Gloster told Reuters from Mumbai. "We are taking it conservatively after going through his scan and the clinical reports," Gloster said. The injury rules out Ganguly from a domestic one-day tri-series starting Monday, he added. It also raises doubts over his selection for the Sri Lanka series because the captain is scheduled to be picked on October 13, four days before he is re- examined.
