FBCCI signs a trade boosting MoU with Georgian Chamber
FE Report
11/1/2005

Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Georgia's apex trade body, Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) to explore the potential of expanding trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
FBCCI president Mir Nasir Hossain and GCCI president Jemal Inaishvili signed the MoU for the respective sides during the 70th council meeting of the Confederation of Asia Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) and Asia Business Forum held recently at Tabilisi, Georgia.
The co-operation agreement aims at fostering friendship and understanding between the business communities of Georgia and Bangladesh by promoting co-operation in trade, investment, technology, services and other industrial business sectors.
Under the agreement, both the chambers will provide information regarding trade, economic co-operation and services between the two countries, exchange materials for securing the objectives of the MoU and take necessary measures for promoting close business co-operation.
Besides, the MoU ensures co-operation in sponsoring business missions, receiving businessmen and experts, and organising training, seminars, workshops, etc., in the areas mutually agreed upon.
Both the sides will also hold meetings to consult on various problems pertaining to the promotion of trade, economic co-operation and service between the countries.
