State Minister for Youth and Sports Fazlur Rahman accorded Tuesday a warm reception to the BKSP Under-18 hockey team for clinching the Neheru Under-18 Hockey Tournament in India at the conference room of the ministry, reports BDNEWS.
BKSP Under-18 Hockey Team defeated Alipur Khalsha of Jalandhar by 5-4 goals in New Delhi.
The keeper of the team Mehrab Hossain Kiron was adjudged as the best player of the tournament.
The state minister donated TK. 10,000 to the each member of the team including officials of the team.
Secretary of the Youth and Sports Ministry Dr AK Mahbubul Alam, the Director General of the BKSP Brig Gen Najib Hasan and other officials were also present on the occasion.
