Travel bookings in Asia up 14pc in September
11/16/2005

SINGAPORE, Nov 15 (AFP): Travel bookings in Asia increased 14 per cent to exceed 4.47 million in September, fuelled by strong intra-regional demand, a leading ticket reservations firm said today.
The solid performance in September, which followed a similarly strong display in August, means the industry is poised for another record-breaking year in 2005, Abacus International said in a statement.
