Deal signed to set up specialised kidney centre in Dhaka

          Akira Kidney Centre of Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore, and Phoenix Medical Centre Limited signed a joint venture agreement in Singapore recently.
The agreement was signed for establishing a specialised kidney centre in Dhaka.
Phoenix Medical Centre Chairman Deen Mohammad and Akira Kidney Centre of Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore Director Akira Wu signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Among others, Phoenix Medical Centre Vice Chairman Mohammad Shoeb and its Managing Director Md Jahangir Alam were present on the occasion.
Akira Kidney Centre of Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore will provide total management as well as both educational and technical support to Phoenix Medical Centre in order to establish an international standard kidney centre in Dhaka.
The specialised kidney centre will offer medical facilities of excellence for the treatments of all kinds of kidney diseases including kidney transplantation.
Phoenix Medical Centre will launch its operation by June, 2006 and then no one will need to go abroad for kidney treatment.
