Sugarcane crushing starts in Panchagarh

          PANCHAGARH, Nov 27: The sugarcane crushing programme has got underway in Panchagarh Sugar Mill with a profit target of Tk 10 million (Tk 1.0 crore) during the current season, reports BDNEWS.
The mill authority said 9,660 tonnes of sugar would be produced in the season by crushing 115,000 tonnes of sugarcane. About 9,232 acres of land have been brought under sugarcane cultivation to achieve the target.
