11th DITF from Dec 10
11/29/2005

The twice-deferred 11th month-long Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) will begin in the capital from December 10. Prime Minister Khaleda Zia is expected to inaugurate the fair at the city's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar as chief guest. Organised by Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), companies from 12 countries including host Bangladesh will participate in the fair. Earlier, the fair was twice postponed to facilitate holding of 13th SAARC summit in the capital. EPB sources said that DITF would be participated for the first time by delegations from different foreign chambers and business associations. Myanmar Chamber of Commerce, Yunnan Chamber of Commerce of China, Hyderabad Chamber of India and Karachi Chamber of Pakistan have already confirmed their partici-
pations. — UNB
