Hewitt pulls out of Masters Cup in Shanghai
11/9/2005

SYDNEY, Nov 8 (AFP): Australia's Lleyton Hewitt announced he was withdrawing from this weekend's Masters Cup in Shanghai as he awaits the impending birth of his first child.
The World No. 4's wife is expected to deliver the baby within two weeks and Hewitt said he wanted to be there.
"I am extremely disappointed as I have always enjoyed playing Tennis Masters Cup and had a great time in Shanghai in 2002, winning the event and maintaining my year-end world No.1 status," Hewitt said in a statement.
"With my baby due in the next two weeks, it is not possible for me to come.
