12/1/2005

Despite a magical resistance in the fourth innings, touring Barisal failed to avoid a defeat from Dhaka as the hosts skipper Mohammad Ashraful captured four out of seven remaining Barisal's wickets on the fourth and last day of the four-dayer in the Ispahani Mirzapore Seventh National Cricket League Wednesday, reports BDNEWS.

Himel hammered three fours in his 204-ball knock. Not only Himel contributed for the victory, but also Hasibul Hossain Shantoo played an all-round performance scoring unbeaten 21 off just 13 balls featuring a boundary and two sixes.
