JESSORE, Dec 22 (BDNEWS): Prime Minister Khaleda Zia Thursday said the opposition parties do not want an end to bomb blasts in the country and that is why they did not join the national dialogue. "People of the whole country are now united against bomb blasts. Politicians, Alem, professionals - all joined the national dialogue. But the opposition does not want an end to bomb blasts in the country. They did not even accept the invitation," she said, adding, "however, our dialogue would continue." The Prime Minister was addressing a huge public meeting at Jessore central Eidgah organised by district BNP. Terming the bombers as 'terrorists', PM said they would not be spared. Khaleda Zia called upon the people to find out the bombers in each and every area, and hand them over to the police. "The development activities by the government made the opposition tense and unstable. That is why they want to come to power through backdoor showing the triumph card," she said adding, "but people have foiled their ill-motive." Warning the opposition parties, the Prime Minister said her party did not come from a surge. "We will not step aside as you are asking. The next elections will be held in 2007 on time according to the Constitution." District BNP President Shahidul Islam Nayan chaired the rally. It was addressed, among others, by Environment and Forest Minister Tariqul Islam, Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General and Social Welfare Minister Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid, PM's Political Secretary Harris Chowdhury, Sarwari Rahman, MP, Kazi Alauddin, MM Aminuddin, Muhaddis Abu Sayeed, Mofiqul Hasan Tripti and district BNP General Secretary Kazi Munirul Huda.
