Bomb explodes at city's Mirpur

          A bomb exploded Saturday night in front of the fire service station located at Mirpur-10 in the city. No casualty was reported and none was arrested in this connection. According to sources, the bomb blasted near 'Bikrampur Mistanna Bhandar' and the fire service station at about 8 pm. When contacted, Mirpur thana police said forces were sent to the spot. Talking to the news agency, ASM Raihan, assistant commissioner of police, Mirpur zone, said that some terrorists exploded the cocktail over a toll collection incident. Meanwhile, police arrested two Jama'atul Mujaheden Bangladesh (JMB) members on Saturday morning, suspecting them of being involved with the 17 August bomb blasts. They are: Nazrul Islam (25) and Salman (20). Police have been interrogating them till the filing of the report. — agencies
