AL, BNP's politics not for Islam or people: Hijbut Tahrir
12/25/2005

Islamist political party Hijbut Tahrir Bangladesh Saturday blasted both the mainstream parties BNP and Awami League for what they said not serving interest of Islam, people and the country, reports BDNEWS.
The party also claimed that the recent rise of militancy was a part of the imperialist plot to grab Bangladesh's natural resources. In this regard, they insisted on the need for a Khilafat-based governance system.
Leaders of Hijbut Tahrir said this at the national conference on 'National Resistance against Bomb Attacks' organised by the party at the Institute of Engineers in the city.
