Alltex approves 7.50pc dividend

          Alltex Industries Limited has approved 7.50 per cent dividend for the year ended on June30, 2005.
The approval came in the company's 21st annual general meeting (AGM), held at its factory premises at Rupganj in Narayanganj recently.
The meeting was presided over by Alltex Vice Chairperson Hasna Ahmad and conducted by Managing Director Fahim Uddin Ahmad Arif.
The company's Dy Managing Director Imtiaz Uddin Ahmad Asif, Additional Director MA Mohsin and Company Secretary Liaquat Ali Chowdhury, among others, were also present in the meeting.
Speaking at the AGM the managing director said the company is now the country's leading home textile products exporter. It has recorded an ever-highest turnover amounting to over Tk 2.17 billion.
Alltex products are now being exported to the EU countries like France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Holland, Finland, Belgium, Italy, the UK and also in the US. The products are likely to penetrate new markets in Canada and Australia too.
