Rupantarita Prakritik Gas holds AGM

          The 18th annual general meeting (AGM) of Rupantarita Prakritik Gas Company Limited (RPGCL) was held in the city recently.
The meeting was presided over by Secretary of the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, AMM Nasir Uddin, who is also the chairman of the board of RPGCL.
Its audited accounts for the fiscal year 2004-2005 revealed a revenue income of over Tk 567.7 million (5677 lakh) from the sale of LPG, MS, CNG and others. 'The company earned a pre-tax profit of over Tk 83.2 million, which is 27 per cent higher than that of the previous year.
Chairman of Petrobangla M Musharraf Hussain Bhuiyan and Managing Director of RPGCL Abdul Wadud were also present on the occasion.
