No alternative to Islamic rule for peace, says Fazlul Karim
12/29/2005

Amir of the Islamic Constitution Movement (ICM) and Peer of Charmonai Syed Fazlul Karim Wednesday said there is no alternative to establishing the Islamic rule in the country in order to get rid of the current crisis, reports BDNEWS.
"The countrymen should understand that the country and the humanities have fallen into this deplorable situation due to the government's misrule and corruption under the existing ruling system. Peace and emancipation will not be established in the country if Islamic rule is not established," he said.
He was presiding over a meeting of working committee of the ICM at the party office in the city.
Karim said his party can form electoral alliance or unity with those who will sincerely extend their hands to protecting the interest of Islam and the country.
"ICM will not compromise with anyone by leaving the ideology of Islam," he said. ICM Secretary General Nurul Huda Faizee, ATM Hemayetuddin, Saifuddin Iyahiya, Neyamatullah Al Faridi, Syed Belayet Hossain, Manirul Islam, Ahmed Abdul Kaiyum, Abdul Haque Azad and Kairul Islam were also present at the meeting.
