Square Pharmaceuticals records 17.5pc growth

          Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd recorded a growth of 17.5 per cent in 2005 compared to that of 2004.
It was disclosed in its Sales and Marketing Conference - 2005 held in Cox's Bazar recently.
The conference was inaugurated by its Managing Director Tapan Chowdhury.
It was disclosed in the conference that during the year up to December 14, 2005 the company introduced 64 new products.
After Kosovo, Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea, Ghana, Vietnam, Bhutan, Mauritius, Kenya, Libya and Somalia, Square is working to expand its export horizon to Cambodia, Costa Rica, Mozambique and Comoros Island in the very near future, it was informed.
The conference was also addressed by Executive Director (Administration) MAH Chawdhury, Executive Director (Operations) Parvez Hashim, Director (Marketing) Muhammadul Haque and Director (Sales) KM Saiful Islam.
The conference was concluded with an award giving ceremony for outstanding achievers. The awards were handed over by the managing director.
