Rahimafrooz CNG signs MoU with StanChart
FE Report
12/29/2005

Rahimafrooz CNG Limited has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) to launch a joint promotional campaign for SCB credit cardholders.
Under the offer, SCB's Visa and MasterCard holders, through its InstaBuys programme, can avail CNG conversion packages for their vehicles from Rahimafrooz CNG workshops in Dhaka and Chittagong on six monthly instalments without paying any interest.
Rahimafrooz CNG Director and Chief Operating Officer Shahzad Akhtar and SCB Manager (Cards) Gitanka D Datta signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. Other senior officials of both the organisations were also present on the occasion.
The InstaBuys programme allows the customers to make instant purchases with SCB credit card and convert them into easy equal monthly instalment (EMI) plans without any interest or processing fee.
Conversion of car engines from regular fuel to CNG has gained immense popularity in recent times as it can save 75 per cent fuel cost, while being 100 per cent environment- friendly.
