New consultant of Apollo Hospitals

          Dr Rekesh Gupta has joined the Apollo Hospitals Dhaka as trainer consultant of orthopedics recently.Gupta did his post graduation from the Institute of Medical Science in 1986. He had been working in the Department of Orthopedics Paraplegia and Rehabilitation at the same institute since 1988 initially as a senior resident and later as a consultant.
He underwent training at the Cantonal University Hospital in Geneva, Switzerland in 1992 as a visiting AO fellow and later involved himself actively in the practice of orthopedic trauma and joint replacement.
He was awarded J&J travelling fellowship by the Indian Orthopedic Association in 1997-98. He also served as a clinical attaché at the John Charnley Research Institute Centre for hip surgery at the Wrightington Hospital in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2003.
