StanChart to help police modernise immigration service

          Standard Chartered will support the Special Branch of Bangladesh Police Department to renovate and modernise the immigration areas at air and land ports.
The bank will assist in developing and operating a website for online ED care facility to fast-track the immigration process, a 24-hour Customer Service Cell to provide one-stop support to foreign investors. VIPs, CPs and tourists, modernisation of immigration process and beautification of immigration areas in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet airports and Benapole landport.
Sajidur Rahman, head of the bank's Consumer Banking Business, and Shah Alam, Special Superintendent of Police, signed an agreement in this regard at the Police Headquarters in the city Tuesday. Abdul Quayyum, Inspector General of Police and Osman Morad, Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered, were also, present on the occasion. Among others Farrukh Ahmad Chowdhury, Additional Inspector General, Special Branch, and Shah Masud Imam, Head of Corporate Affairs, Standard Chartered, were present.
