An eight-day annual computer fair begins at IDB Bhaban in the city tomorrow (Saturday), aiming to further popularise computer use among the common people. Gigabite, Intel, Lexmark and Philips will be the sponsors of the 'CityIT 2005.' It is expected to be inaugurated by Livestock Minister Abdullah Al Noman. "Apart from popularising IT use among the commoners, the fair also aims to provide computers and computer parts and accessories to the users at cheaper prices," said vice-president of BCS Computer City and Convener of the fair Saiful Islam. — UNB
