COMILLA, Dec 8 (UNB): Bangladesh Krishi Bank has set a target to disburse Tk 3.25 billion loans in Comilla zone during the current fiscal year through its 143 branches.
Of the total, Tk 1.90 billion will be disbursed in crop sector, Tk 200 million in pisciculture, 420 million in livestock, Tk 21 million for buying irrigation machinery and Tk 23.5 million for agri machinery, Tk 120 million for setting up agro-based industries, Tk 200 million in running loan, Tk 155.5 million for developing socio-economic sector and 210 million for other sectors.
The bank disbursed Tk 844.6 million loans in the first five months of the current fiscal year, which was 26 per cent of the total target.
It also realised Tk 381.8 million outstanding loans against the target of 2.77 billion during the period.
