Dhaka Metro Green champions in U-13 Young Tigers Elite National Cricket tournament

          Dhaka Metro Green emerged champions in the U-13 Young Tigers Elite National Cricket Divisional competition with a four-wicket victory over Rajshahi Division in the final at Nabin Sangha ground here Tuesday, reports BDNEWS.
After being put into bat first, Rajshahi piled a moderate 221 for all in 41.2 overs as Ahmedul Kabir hit a superb century.
Kabir hit 106 off 84 featuring 16 fours and four sixes while Shariar Islam was the second highest score with 39 off 105 balls with three fours and one six.
Dhaka Metro, in reply, reached home scoring 225 for six in 47.5 overs as man of the match Rokin Ahmed put blazing 80 off 87 that included 11 fours and two sixes.
Yasin (36), Diar (26), Robin (22) and Tanvir (20 not out) were other remarkable scorers.
