AKTEL extends pre-paid refill cards' validity
FE Report
2/11/2005

AKTEL has extended the validity period of its Tk 300 One Pre-Paid Refill Card from 30 days to 180 days and that of Tk 600 Card from 45 days to 365 days.
The promotional offer will be applicable to all Tk 300 and Tk 600 refills and it will remain valid until March 9, 2005, a press release of the private telecom service provider said Thursday.
In a statement, AKTEL Chief Operating Officer Vijay Watson said, "We are committed to provide our customers the best possible mobile service and facilities in the country. In this respect, we are responding to a long-awaited expectation from Pre-Paid customers to further extend the validity period of refill cards. We were also the first operator to increase the validity period of our Tk 300 Card from 21 to 30 days."
The move is expected to draw many new customers' attention to the AKTEL service during the promotional period, the release added.
