Government party leader and LGRD Minister Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan announced Sunday in parliament that any constructive suggestions from the opposition would be accepted for ensuring impartial elections free from the influence of black money and terrorism, reports UNB. The BNP secretary general also expressed his party's readiness to sit with the opposition and discuss the reform proposals on caretaker government and the Election Commission placed by Leader of the Opposition Sheikh Hasina in parliament Sunday. "Some of the suggestions have already been implemented and a number of suggestions require discussion for holding an acceptable election," Bhuiyan said in a prompt response to the opposition agenda laid in the House.
