Sanitary ware factory goes into production in Nilphamari

          NILPHAMARI, Feb 15: Sanita Ceramic Private Limited, a sanitary ware factory, went into formal production in Nilphamari in December last.
The factory equipped with modern machinery was established on three acres of land involving about Tk 80 million (8.0 crore).
Local industrialist Mujahidul Islam Farooq has taken the initiative to establish the factory with financial support from Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL), Nilphamari branch.
Technical support was provided by India. The factory created job opportunities for about 300 persons and would produce 1200 to 1800 sanitary wares a day.
Zonal Manager of the IBBL Abdul Kader formally inaugurated the factory.
When asked, Managing Director of the factory Mujahidul Islam Farooq told the FE that he took the initiative to establish the factory in the area to provide employment opportunities to local jobless youths.
