Power crisis hits SSC candidates hard
Our Correspondent
2/26/2006

SIRAJGANJ, Feb 23: Acute power crisis is taking toll on candidates of ensuing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination scheduled to begin from March 9 next, according to sources.
SSC candidates of Sirajganj, Pabna, Natore and Bogra districts are the worst sufferers of such frequent loadshedding, sources alleged.
Local people are using candles and lanterns as alternative to electricity, they added.
They also urged the authority concerned to take effective measures in this connection and ensure uninterrupted power supply.
