Energypac Power Generation Ltd., the local representative of Rolls-Royce, the world famous engine manufacturer, organised a seminar on small and medium gas-fired power plants at a city hotel recently, said a press release.
British High Commissioner in Bangladesh Anwar Chowdhury was present on the occasion as the chief guest.
Director (Customer Service Business, Diesels) George Robert Hanlon, Director (Diesels Power Business) Mark Michael Mencel of Rolls-Royce, CEO and Corp Director of Energypac Power Generation Ltd Humayun Rashid and leading local industrialists, were also present, among other invited guests.
The speakers expressed the view that Rolls-Royce gas-fired small and medium power plants will contribute a lot to get rid of the ongoing power crisis of the country.
