The students and teachers of Sunnydale, an English medium school at Dhanmondi in the city, donated Tk 0.1 million to the Ahsania Mission Cancer Hospital (AMCH) Monday.
The 500-bed AMCH is now under construction at Uttara in the city.
A student of Sunnydale school handed over the cheque for the amount to the President and Chief Executive of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Kazi Rafiqul Alam at its head office.
Students, teachers and board of directors of Sunnydale School donated the money for the noble cause of fighting the fatal disease.
Students shared the contribution by saving from their tiffin and gift money. Rafiqul Alam expressed his gratitude to the students and teachers of Sunnydale School for their generous donation.
