NEW DELHI, Feb 7 (AP/UNB): A leading Indian newspaper apologized Tuesday for publishing a photograph of a Koranic verse tattooed on a woman's back, after Muslim demonstrators protested against the image.
The apology, carried on the front page of the Times of India, came a day after hundreds of students rallied in the capital protesting the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in European newspapers.
