AHD launches Apollo Stroke Centre
FE Report
3/1/2006

Apollo Hospitals Dhaka (AHD) launched the 'Apollo Stroke Centre' (ASC) in the city Tuesday, the first ever in Bangladesh.
ASC, equipped with world class medical accessories coupled with consultants with global repute, is launched to cater to the demand for top class treatment of patients suffering strokes.
Inaugurating the ASC Khondoker Moniruddin, managing director (MD) of AHD said this. The function was also addressed by Richard Larison, chief executive officer, Praful B. Pawar and Dr. Alim Aktar Bhuiyan.
"The number of stroke affected patients are increasing rapidly but there is no appropriate treatment centre in Bangladesh. This is for the first time AHD is initiating such mission to provide round the clock service through skilled doctors and consultants," said the MD.
