Take step to save nation from crisis: Ershad
3/12/2006

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman Hussain Mohammad Ershad said the main objective of his party now is to take effective steps to save the nation and people from present crisis.
In a views exchange meeting with the leaders of the party's Sylhet division at his Banani office in the city Saturday he urged all to take all-out preparation for the next general elections to achieve the goal, reports BSS.
Ershad said a silent change in the country's political arena has started in favour of the JP.
He also said people are now desperately finding ways to get a remedy in the present dire situation. Only the JP can fulfil the hopes and aspirations of the people, he added.
With Sylhet divisional coordinator of the party Atiqur Rahman in the chair, the function was addressed, among others, by JP Secretary General ABM Ruhul Amin Howlader, presidium member Abu Sufian, Kazi Firoz Rashid, Lutfor Rahman Helal, Khalilur Rahman Chowdhury and Abdullah Siddiqui.
The meeting decided to hold a four-day road-march in Sylhet from March 23 next.
