Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh's (ICMA) Khulna Branch Council (KBC) election for the year 2006 was held recently.
Khan Md Abdul Wahab and Md Ala Uddin Akanda have been elected chairman and secretary respectively of the council.
Besides them, Kazi Ashraful Hoque and Ashok Kumar Debnath have been elected vice-chairman and treasurer respectively.
The other members of the newly-elected council are Md Monjurul Islam, Md Amzad Hossain, Mahmud Hasan, Muniruzzaman Khan, Md Mokbul Ahmed and Ashoke Kumer Kundu.
