Bangladesh trade fair ends in Thimpu

          The four-day Bangladesh Trade Fair, held under the auspices of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) at Bhutanese capital of Thimpu, ended Saturday, reports BSS.
Commerce and Industries Minister of Bhutan Lyanpo Yoshi Jimba inaugurated the fair on March 8. Additional Secretary of the Commerce Ministry Sirajul Islam and Bangladesh Ambassador to Bhutan Enamul Kabir were present at the inaugural function, according to an EPB press release.
A total of 26 organisations including two universities of Bangladesh took part in the fair.
Bangladeshi products including medicines, melamine, cosmetics and toiletries, bathroom fittings, furniture, handicrafts, saris, imitation jewellery and electric goods were put on display at the fair, the release added.
