14-party combine to gherao WASA tomorrow
3/15/2006

Awami League (AL) led 14-Party combine Tuesday announced a programme to gherao WASA office tomorrow (Thursday) demanding adequate water supply to the city dwellers, reports UNB.
It also planned to gherao the Secretariat on March 30 as part of the anti-government movement.
The programme was announced from a rally in the city that denounced police atrocities on Awami Jubo League activists during the Sunday's countrywide hartal.
AL General Secretary Abdul Jalil MP condemned the police action as a savage attack that did not spare the women activists.
