Media can play an effective role in promoting risk reduction culture in the society. Speakers at a dialogue expressed the view on "Promoting the Role of Mass-Media for Disaster Risk Reduction." Comprehensive Disaster Management Programme (CDMP), the ministry of food and disaster management organised the dialogue Saturday at the PIB conference room in the city.
Minister for Food and Disaster Management Chowdhury Kamal Ibne Yousuf was present as the chief guest, while Abdur Rashid Sarker, secretary of the ministry, was the special guest at the programme.
