A function, organised by Banglalink, was held at a hotel in Khulna city recently to launch a project on beautification of certain areas of the city.
Banglalink, GrameenPhone and Khulna City Corporation (KCC) will work as close partners to develop and beautify the mid-islands of certain prominent areas of Khulna city.
KCC Mayor Sheikh Tayebur Rahman attended the occasion as the chief guest. The ceremony was also attended, among others, by Banglalink Customer Care Director Rumana Reza, KCC ward commissioner Md Mosaddek Hossain Babul, Banglalink Senior Specialist Shehzad S Hossain, Banglalink Superviser (Khulna) Babul Haque, KCC Senior Licence Officer Mollah Maruf Rashid.
The KCC mayor formally unveiled a plaque and planted a sapling marking the commencement of the project.
