Gross asset of South Asia Ins rises by 19pc

          South Asia Insurance Company Limited (SAICL) recorded a rise in its gross asset by 19 per cent compared to the previous year.
This was disclosed at the 34th meeting of the board of directors of the company held at its head office in the city recently.
Chairman of the company Ghulam Akbar Chowdhury presided over the meeting.
Also present on the occasion were SAICL Vice Chairman AHM Mahtabuddin, directors Abu Mohammed Chowdhury, Anwar Ali Khan, Kamaluddin, Md Nasiruddin Chowdhury, Samya Sultana, Masud Ahmed, Shahabuddin Chowdhury and Aiman Akbar.
