Khulna all set to host maiden ODI

          KHULNA, Mar 19 (BDNEWS): Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Khulna is all set to host the maiden international cricket match when hosts Bangladesh take on visiting Kenya today (Monday).
To host the match, all necessity work at the stadium have been done and the cricket lovers of country's southern districts Khulna, Bagerhat, Sathkira, Jessore, Narail are eagerly waiting for the day to witness the match.
Both the teams arrived in Khulna Saturday from Bogra after playing the first affair of the four-ODI Banglalink Tiger Cup Series. Bangladesh registered a massive 131-run victory over Kenya in the first match Friday.
The Bangladesh team will be staying at Millennium International Hotel in the city while the Kenyans boarded at Hotel Royal. Both teams will have the net practice at the new venue yesterday (Sunday).
Officials concerned said that all 15,000 tickets, including three categories of VIP tickets, have been sold out.
However, the tickets are available in the black-market and the ticket of Tk 50 was being sold at Tk 150.
