Eight killed in separate incidents in two days

          Eight persons including a top terror and a madrassah student were killed and many others injured in separate incidents in different places of the country during the last two days, report agencies.
In Faridpur, a top terror was killed in a shootout between his cohorts and the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) near Government Commercial College in the town Monday.
In Manikganj, a man was killed in a road accident near Baniajuri bus stand on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway here Saturday night.
In Nilphamari, a housewife was strangled to death after rape allegedly by her husband and his accomplices at Gopaljhara village in Jaldhaka Upazila Saturday night.
In Jessore, two people were killed in separate incidents in the district Sunday.
In another incident, Rupchand Ali Sardar alias Rupi of Kathaltola village in Monirampur Upazila died on the spot when a motorcycle hit his bicycle from behind.
In Jhalakati, two siblings were burnt alive and their mother and two-year-old sister sustained burn injuries in a devastating fire at their house at Bhatkati village in Rajapur Upazila Sunday night.
In Sylhet, body of a madrassah student was recovered from the septic tank of a house at Lalargaon in Sadar Upazila Sunday night after few hours of his missing.
The deceased was identified as Belal Ahmed (11), student of class-VI of Foteh Madrassah and son of expatriate Moniruddin alias Geda Miah.
The body was sent to the Osmani Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy Monday morning.
